Bowling Ball Surfaces

Plastic – good for dry lanes conditions but is mostly used for picking up spares
Reactive Resin – It absorbs lane conditioner thru microscopic pores. This absorption channel provides another way of dispersing lane conditioner which allows the ball to read friction on the lane . The absorption process reduces the amount of lane conditioner that gets left on the lane surface. Since reactive resin materials were introduced, the proprietors have been adding more oil to the lane surface to help protect the lanes and there investment.
Pearlized Resin – Pearlized Reactives go longer; therefore retaining energy for a more angular change of direction(hook) when reaction takes place
